Kidus The Teen Researcher

|

Hi my name is Kidus and I will be a freshman in college... next year. Until then I'm a senior in High school for 2 more long gruesome months. For the second semester of my senior year I found an exciting Internship opportunity at a VIDEO GAME PRODUCTION lab in MIT.

Alright alright, I'm not actually producing video games, but still you might ask what would a high school senior be doing on a floor filled with graduate students and skilled professionals in their area of study?
I'm blogging!!
I'm going to be interviewing staff members from all around the Gambit lab. I'll even get to interview Dr. Jenkins himself. These aren't just any old boring interviews. I'm going to ask some demanding questions that will have the interviewee trembling and we'll find out how everybody contributes to the overall project individually. Since the project focuses on how kids should incorporate the digital world into their everyday life, I have decided to conduct the interviews through the ideal communication technique used by teenagers, texting. Obviously everybody doesn't have free texting, plus it would take way too long to do interviews through cell phones so I chose the second best thing; Instant Messaging the interview. Clearly every post won't be an interview, if it were then you wouldn't get a chance to read about my experiences. Every other week or so I will be blogging about my experiences at this internship, and believe me I will have experiences. I'll also make sure to Blog about the things that happen backstage that you don't get to see or hear about. So if you want to learn about my experiences at the Gambit lab or you just want to hear what's happening with the staff members backstage, come and check out my Blog regularly.
