Introduction
As we develop our research materials, innovative multimedia learning activities, and assessment and other learning tools, we invite educators (whether you're a teacher or an after-school coordinator) to help us evaluate our materials with your middle or high school students.
We have developed an interim social network website to host our materials in development to share with interested educators and students. Each module includes a set of multimedia materials, brief instructions on conducting informal learning activities, as well as feedback forms for you, as mentor and educators, and your students to fill out.
Some activities will require Internet access, while others are hands-on group activities that may require typical classroom materials. Our learning activities range in depth and length, from formal to informal, and we welcome any suggestions or comments about the content, theme, and technical aspects of these modules. Please feel free to review and provide feedback to any activity materials. We want to know why the activities failed as much as we want to know how well they did. |
Receive an Evaluator Certificate! Educators and mentors who complete the online activities and provide consistent feedback will receive an Evaluator Certificate and be recognized at our Fall 2008 Learning Library launch. We look forward to collaborating with you and receiving feedback so that we can continue to improve and develop our materials. Any questions, please contact us for further information. First time participants
If this your first time working with our materials, please complete the following forms and review the directions, terms, and agreement pages. You will receive further information for setting up an account with our focus group website once your registration form has been processed.
All participants
All participants should review the general instructions page before each activity. In addition to specific activity instructions that may include student discussion, multimedia activities, and personal reflection writing, facilitators and students will be asked to complete an online feedback form about each set of activities completed. You can review sample questions from these feedback forms below.
